Sarah Hebenstreit – Modern Kids Co.
Gabrielle Blair – Design Mom
Gabrielle Blair is the creator of Design Mom, praised as a Website of the Year by Time Magazine, and a top parenting blog by the Wall Street Journal, Parents Magazine and Better Homes & Gardens. The site features everything you find at the intersection of Motherhood and Design. From DIY projects and home tours, to book reviews, family-friendly travel, and discussions about modern parenting. Gabrielle Blair, designer and mother of 6, embraces the current widespread love of design, and approaches motherhood from a designer’s perspective — writing posts like tips for great family photos, her favorite parenting trick, thoughts on selfies, and forty things she loves about her husband. In addition to Design Mom, Gabrielle’s active internet career also includes being a founder of Alt Summit, and a creator of Olive Us. Married to Ben Blair, they live with their six kids — Ralph, Maude, Olive, Oscar, Betty and Flora June — in the French countryside, in a farmhouse with a name instead of an address.
Kara May – Kara May Photography
Children’s photographer, Kara May, has turned her passion of capturing the innocence of her own children into a business of capturing other children’s lives, emotions and experiences through her photographs. Every image she captures tells a story, evoking the feelings and mood of her subjects. Her style is hip & fresh yet deep & real. Some have referred to her style as childhood romantic. Through her lens she reveals ‘who’ your child really is, capturing her subjects at a moment in time and preserving that memory through her art. She has two busy young children and a loving and supportive husband. Her family provides the inspiration and support to evolve in her work and behind the camera.
Garrett Nudd – Cobblestone Rue
Garrett Nudd and his wife Joy are citizens of the world. After returning home to Chattanooga six years ago, they opened a chic storefront studio in the historic Southside arts community. Inspired by travel and style, Cobblestone Rue is a couture portrait studio unlike anything offered in their area. In addition to their portrait work, Garrett and Joy have photographed weddings in 12 different countries throughout Europe and the Caribbean and coast to coast from New York to San Diego. Their work has been published in more than 50 wedding and industry publications. Garrett and Joy were married in Joy’s hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. They have two spirited daughters who enjoy traveling and downloading apps on mom & dad’s iPhones.
