28 Jun YYC Memories – Helping those affected in Calgary!
NAPCP would like to help spread the word of a very important project being put together by a few members, including Dana Pugh and Jennifer Kapala. As many of you may know, Calgary, Canmore, Okotoks, High River and the surrounding areas were recently hit with what is easily the worst flooding on record. Over 100,000 people were forced from their homes and evacuated. Local photographer Gabe McClintock, along with Dana and Jennifer decided they wanted to do something to help. They reached out to theĀ amazing people atĀ FLIPP advertising, who in a mere 48 hours were able to setup a website to help spread the word to the public.
So, if you are a photographer who is wanting to help, or if you know a family who may be in need please visit the YYC Memories site here. You can also read blog posts about the project by Dana here and Gabe here.
The NAPCP team sends its love and thoughts to all those affected by the recent floods and hopes others will help spread the word about YYC Memories.
