Inspiration: I was inspired by the details of the baby’s nursery and was so excited to capture some of these in this lifestyle session. In addition to capturing photos of the baby and family, capturing photos of those special little details that we may forget as the children get older are so important.
Favorite Element: My favorite element of this session was all the beautiful natural light that flowed into their home. This allowed for beautiful portraits in both the nursery and the master bedroom.
Biggest Challenge: This session was actually a dream. Everyone (including the newborn and big brother) was cooperative and the session went very well. If I had to pick one thing, though, it would be the use of space. Because I was inside a home (mostly the nursery), I had to get creative with composition to have a variety of photos from that space.
Final Thoughts: This family was wonderful to work with. I truly enjoyed spending time with them and capturing these beautiful memories. I’m so glad that they will have these photos to remember this special time for their family.
