21 May May 2020 Inspired Magazine: Featuring Susan Porter-Thomas!
The May issue of Inspired is HERE!
Happy May! We know it’s not the May you planned for, but we hope that in this time of pause and uncertainty – NAPCP can continue to be that source of inspiration, encouragement and light.
We’re excited to release our May issue of Inspired simply because it’s jam packed with gloriousness! Featured artist Susan Porter-Thomas of Susan Porter-Thomas Photography shares with us what 15 years of experience as a family and maternity photographer in London has taught her. Did we mention Susan was recently certified as a Master Photographer for Child category by NAPCP? She is a talented gem!
NAPCP Ambassador Rya Dunklee of Ryaphotos also shares with us how successfully building a strong brand based niche market can set her apart, and provide a fantastic added income, in a growing saturated market. Now as we are forced to really sit down and evaluate what makes us truly unique as an artist, Rya’s guidance on speciality sessions really hits home.
Make sure to check out the beautiful “long exposure” feature images in this month’s issue! Next month’s issue will feature images that capture “negative space.” Do you have an image you’d like to share? Submit your imagery for consideration by June 1st! NAPCP members and non-members are welcome to submit.
This month, we will also be busy reviewing images submitted from May’s Master Photographer Certication for Family. Stay tuned for our Maternity category to open this July!
