Inspiration: This beautiful mom was not able to capture her little girl’s newborn portraits, so it was important for her to document her daughter’s one-year birthday.



Favorite Element: I loved that mom wanted to incorporate her viola in the session as she plays professionally and is such a wonderful musician.



Biggest Challenge: I found the biggest challenge was not being noticed by the sweet one year-old. I didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable as I knew she was very shy of strangers.



Final Thoughts: My final thoughts on this session are that I wish I could do more sessions like this one. I think it’s so important for moms to step out in front of the camera with their children as they are usually the ones taking all the photos.
