Central to our mission is fostering a vibrant and supportive community of like-minded photographers. NAPCP prides itself in hosting a variety of in-person events, including NAPCP retreats, business summits, conferences and now introducing Ambassador-led gatherings, getaways and adventures. These events provide invaluable opportunities for networking, connections, and professional & personal growth.

NAPCP Members: Do you have a desire to host your own workshop or retreat experience, but you’re unsure on how to begin? NAPCP is excited to introduce a unique partnership that allows you to create an extraordinary experience for photographers and build a name for yourself, while we hold your hard every step of the way. You host, we back you up!

Qualifications for Hosting a NAPCP Getaway or Adventure

Must be a current and active member of NAPCP of at least 3 years

Must reside (or have special knowledge) in a unique location that our members would want to visit

Must be detail-oriented, creative, and have excellent organizational skills

Must have a basic understanding of event planning and know how to work around a budget

Must enjoy collaborative planning, problem solving and be an effective communicator

Must enjoy fellowship among community and have a desire to strengthen connections

Must be adaptable, be willing to pivot in plans and be able to remain calm under pressure

Most importantly: Must have a heart to serve, uplift and elevate our photographer community

NAPCP GETAWAY

A 2 day education-focused getaway experience for an intimate group of photographers.

FOCUS
Shared, collaborative business conversations amongst NAPCP members & non-members, collaborative & creative photoshoot experience, and deep connections among like-minded professional photographers.

ATTENDENCE
Intimate Group of 7-15 Photographers

POTENTIAL LOCATIONS
A beach house, a lake house, a metropolitan city or countryside estate.

NAPCP ADVENTURE

A 2-3 day adventure experience hosted for an intimate group of NAPCP members.

FOCUS
A once-in-a lifetime photoshoot experience, typically at a location most photographers would dream of photographing at, and exploration of the area’s rich culture, food, people and landscape.

ATTENDENCE
Intimate Group of 7-15 NAPCP Members

POTENTIAL LOCATIONS
Banff National Park, Yosemite National Park, Acadia National Park, France and more.

Partnership

You create an unforgettable experience for photographers and NAPCP provides you with the tools to successfully host.

NAPCP HOST

Chooses location to host their event: city, venue, lodging options.

Plans a 2 day itinerary for photographer participants.

Creates a budget for the event and calculates price/person.

Works with the NAPCP Team on all details needed for registration.

Coordinates with hotel, Airbnb, lodging on room rate, discounted offer, booking link.

Helps answer questions as they come in.

Collaborates with NAPCP on how to best market this experience.

Helps market the event to network, friends, social media/email channels.

Provides detailed itinerary, packing list and communicates directly with participants so all questions are answered.

Provides “Welcome bags/boxes” for participants upon arrival.

Is the point of contact, logistics coordinator and “Host” for all participants for the duration of experience.

Provides NAPCP photographic and video coverage of the event.

Completes a follow-up questionnaire once the event concludes.

NAPCP TEAM

Provides tools and checklists to ensure the Host has everything they need to get started.

Consults on best practices for hosting an unforgettable experience.

Builds event landing page with event details, FAQ, important links.

Builds event registration page, includes shared liability waiver with Host.

Markets event to broader NAPCP community via our e-list, social media channels and online community.

Manages and keeps track of all registration/attendees. Caps registration when the event fills up.

Manages and keeps track of the waitlist.

Creates attendee Facebook community group.

If applicable, sends a NAPCP team member to offer support and document the experience on behalf of the Host (expenses covered by Host).

Consulting, Mentoring, Partnership Fee: $750

Sends an attendee survey once the event concludes.
